Consultations

  • Medication consolidation for patients on complex regimens who want a thorough review

  • Evidence-based literature and harm-reduction consultations for patients researching treatments outside traditional psychiatry (peptides, psychedelics, off-label medications, and more)

  • Provider-to-provider consultations

  • I accept insurance because I believe quality psychiatric care shouldn't depend on your financial situation. Building an accessible practice is a deliberate choice, not an afterthought.

  • Rather than condensing everything into a single rushed appointment, I structure my intake across three 30-minute sessions. The final session is reserved for reviewing my assessment, walking through a treatment plan, and hearing your feedback before we decide anything.

  • I walk through the risks and benefits of every treatment option in detail, because informed consent means more than signing a form. If something isn't working, I want to know.

  • I meet you where you are rather than where you '“should” be. Progress doesn't have to be perfect to be meaningful, and I won't make you feel judged for where you're starting.

  • I integrate the cultural formulation interview as part of my intake, taking time to understand how your identity, background, culture, and community shape your experience of mental health.

  • Gender identity and queer experience are not separate concerns to address. They are central to how I understand you and your mental health. You do not need to explain or justify yourself here.

  • My training in consultation-liaison psychiatry and addiction medicine means I am experienced with complex cases, co-occurring conditions, and patients who have felt underserved or dismissed by traditional psychiatric care. The hope is to have your mental healthcare a continuum of your physical.

  • My recommendations are grounded in current research and clinical guidelines, while remaining flexible to your specific needs, values, and lived experience. Let’s review the literature and guidelines together to make an informed decision.
