Lower East Side Psychiatry was founded on a straightforward premise: quality mental healthcare should be accessible to you regardless of what you can afford. I accept insurance and built this practice for people who have felt failed or overlooked by the mental health system. I have a particular interest in working with queer and LGBTQIA+ patients and medically complex cases. My approach is person-centered and grounded in harm reduction. I attend to the full texture of a person's life rather than symptoms alone. If you want to engage with the evidence behind your care, I welcome that conversation. Discussing recent literature and emerging research is a genuine part of how I practice.
