Intake is a 60-minute visit. After that, we meet for 20 to 25 minutes, as often as your care calls for. Visits are usually closer together at the start and spread out once things are stable. Shorter visits scheduled more often mean I can adjust course quickly instead of waiting a month to find out how something went.

Yes! Accepting insurance is a deliberate part of how I've built this practice. Please reach out or check the Insurance & Fees page for a current list of accepted plans.

Yes! At present, my practice is virtual only for patients located in New York. I will let you know if an in-person session is recommended or needed.

Follow-up appointments are 20 minutes. How often we meet depends on where you are in your care. Early on, appointments tend to be more frequent. As things stabilize, many patients move to quarterly visits. We will figure out a cadence that makes sense for you.

Yes, with your permission I prefer to coordinate with therapists, primary care physicians, and other members of your medical team. I find that collaborative care generally leads to better outcomes and specialized care.

If you are in immediate danger, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. For urgent but non-emergency concerns, I have a process for reaching me through the medical portal. I can go over this during your intake.
